If you increase the parameter nvevents.maxNumEvents in
/usr/OV/app-defaults/Nvevents, make sure you also increase the
nvevents.maxLoadEvents to the same corresponding number. This will grow the
ovevent.log file accordingly.

I am using NetView 4.2 on Unix. I would like to increase the size of the
Control Desk log. It wraps after about 8 hours of messages. How can I
increase the size to hold several days. Also, can I filter at NetView,
messages I don't want in the log such as Token Ring station inserts and
deinserts (I realize this should be done at the hub, but can't right now).
