If you have not already, be sure to fully qualify the OV command or script name with the path to find it. When at a command line, environment variables (PATH, etc.) are likely set to find these in /usr/OV/bin, etc., but the shell created by Netview to execute your action may not. -----Original Message----- From: Discussion of IBM NetView and POLYCENTER Manager on NetView et alia [mailto:NV-L@UCSBVM.ucsb.edu]On Behalf Of Oren Mamok Sent: Thursday, July 09, 1998 4:07 AM To: NV-L@UCSBVM.ucsb.edu Subject: action and event correlation Hello all, I'm having a problem with assigning an action ( script or an OV action) to a specific trap. The script i wrote is working from the command line but not from the event configuration. Greetings, Oren. |
