Did you look in the database for them?  (ovobjprint -s <seletion name>)
be warned that the selection name can be different than the host name or the
symbol name - it might be wise to "ovobjprint > tmpfile" and then grep the temp 
file for
your objects.

Netmon has some options which will cause netmon to log it's SNMP queries and 
timeouts:
Issuing the command "netmon -M 12" will tell netmon to start tracing SNMP 
requests,
replies, and timeouts. Then search /usr/OV/log/netmon.trace after a sufficient 
time (polling
interval) has elapsed.  Could it be some other snmp manager?

"netmon -M 0" will turn off tracing.
