Hello there,

I know, the "official way" to remove a device from topology and
objectdatabase is to open all maps (permission rw), locate the device
and edit -> delete object -> from all submaps ... running a ovtopofix -a
afterwards and starting netmon again, removing the entry from seed file
and ready!
Now imagine I have 5 maps - some are locally held on client machines -
how can I manage this - I was told there was an unsupported feature
(more elegant) from NetView 3.x ovtopofix -r or something similar, or
has anybody another good idea to do this more elegant?
I have a hugh list of changes - and I think it will drive me clean off
the trolley if have to do it the way deescribed above!

thanks in advance!

Best regards!

    Peter
