To subscribe send a note to listserv@ucsbvm.ucsb.edu which contains only
the line
subscribe NV-L <your_first_name> < your_last_name>
Do this from whatever email system you want your posting to come to. You
will get a note back asking you to send back a reply with just the word
"OK" to make certain that the listserver has found you. Once you do that
you are in. The listserver will send you a note telling you how to
unsubscribe and use other listserver commands, so save it.
Remember, you send requests to listserv@ucsbvm.ucsb.edu. You send your
updates to the NetView list to NV-L@ucsbvm.ucsb.edu. The listserver
monitors the list and forwards copies of all postings to all subscribers.
