Simon,

Currently, the TMF Framework 3.6 does NOT support Oracle 8.  Hence,
NetView V5R1 does NOT support Oracle 8.

I may also add that DB/2 V5.0 is also NOT supported.   If you want to use
DB/2, you need to use the 2.1.2 release of DB2.

Other than these two exceptions, most other levels of Oracle, Sybase,
DB/2 and MS-SQL are supported by the Framework.   MS-SQL, however, is
not supported with NetView/UNIX.

The TME 10 Framework Release Notes is your best source for a
comprehensive listing of all the RDBMS vendors and releases which are
supported.
