You can change the frequency but not the content.

Use Options --> SNMP Configuration from the GUI or type in xnmsnmpconf.
This will bring up a panel in which you can adjust how frequently the pings
are done for status polling and how frequently SNMPgets are done for the
configuration check.  But see the  on-line (or hardcopy) books, especially
the NetView Administrator's Guide, if you haven't looked at this before.
You don't need the GUI up to get to the books either, just type in dtext.

We are running NetView 5.1 on AIX 4.2.1, and I want to know if there is any
way of changing the polling info sent and/or received by NetView (with a
view to reducing traffic overhead).
