Bob,

  Other things to do:

1. Check for oversized or outdated log files in /usr/lnms/log
2. Check /usr/lnms/fc. If your fault log is large, decrease the number of
days before a fault is deleted from within Fault Summary.
3. If you've installed patches onto Optivity NMS, check /usr/lnms/bin for
those binaries that were saved during the patch install. If you can accept
the risk, you can delete these files (they should have the name of the
patch as an extension - i.e. topgt.UON8101). Deleting the files means you
can't uninstall the patch - you're stuck with the patched version of the
binary.
4. Remove old or outdated agents from /usr/lnms/agentsw.
5. Again, higher risk, but if you have installed patched binaries, you can
"strip" them. This will reduce the size of the binary but make "core"
files useless for debugging purposes.

Hope this helps,
