Hi,

I am running Netview V5R1 with Framework V3R6 on a
Solaris 2.6 platform. Recently I applied IX81622 to
repair a problem I was experiencing with the nvsec_admin
security panels. Now I am having a different problem.
When I activate security nvsecd seems to be falling over.

"ovstatus nvsecd" shows the daemon as not running and as
having Received Signal 10, upon which it has exited.

>From the nvsecd.alog I found the following:-

     ./nl_security.C[0392] 09/29/98 10:46:26 | ************ nvsecd

I find that if I ovstart the nvsecd daemon and nvauth I can continue but
I want to
prevent it obviously.

background detail : the users apart from root are not currently granted
any
Framework administrative privaledge - they start the GUI from the CLI.
