Subject: Cisco_Link_Up Trap
Hi at all.....
I use Netview 5.0 on Aix 4.2.1.
I have this situation: I want to monitor ISDN Interface status on a Cisco
Router, having that Interface
unmanaged on GUI.
I observe that this interface sends a Cisco Events Trap : Cisco_Link_Up to
my Control Desk when some traffic
activates it.
OK, this is right for me.... I create so a script that select only BRI
interface, and then send me a mail....
but I don't know where to find IP Name of that Router, I don't know which
variable (as $2, $3 and what else?...)
reports that IP Name.
Is there anybody that could help me? I don't know where to find this
information.....
thanks !!!
dimitri
