Hello, Will;
You were completely right saying it was a permission problem. I ran the 
installation under one of the Administrators
group's member's account and yet, by some strange chance, the user NetView did 
not have the permissions required to
write to the object database directory. After I delete the nvservice and the 
user NetView and recreated them I got the
daemons started one by one after performing necessary configuration.
