Hello All. I have two Netview Servers running and I would like to implement a failover strategy in case one goes down. I am going to do this by backing up, via ADSM, the critical files for each server. I know I will have to back the seedfile of each but what other files should I back up in order to allow the running Netview Server to 'see' everything that the down Netview Server used to 'see'. I realize that this is basically a manual failover strategy, but it should work. The backup manager facility native to Netview is not an option at present because from what I understand this faciltiy cannot deal with collections, something which I am using quite a bit. Any help/info appreciated. Sincerely, Sean Goldsworthy. |
