Hi, In the event that a customer changes their hostname without taking the normal prescribed steps, what are the options? The platform I am referring to is Solaris 2.6 running Netview V5.1. I would be interested in knowing of ways of performing the following:- 1. Recovering the Framework element. 2. The steps for belatedly recovering on the Netview side of things - please note that I don't mind if it is easiest to regenerate the maps and databases from scratch. Thanks in advance, Simon Long Nettrack Technical Solutions Pty Ltd |
