Dear all, Please help me! 1. Does any one know how Netview discover new node in network, in the other word, what policy does it perform to discover new node, by pinging, ARP or others? 2. Netview can't discover new node in my network until I ping this new node or add the IP address of the new node in my seedfile,Why? 3. Does it make above problem, if my netview server has two IP address (one for ATM, the other for Ethernet)? Netview 5.0 with Framework 3.2 , AIX 4.2.1 runs on SP2 NIC: ATM, Ethernet Best Regards, Brian Hwang, IBM,Taiwan TEL:886-7-213-5523 FAX:886-7-216-5488 E-Mail: bhwang@tw.ibm.com |
