Don't i love unknown/Microsoft traps too...
Anyhow, i'd consider setting traps nobody really
knows/cares about to LOG ONLY as bad strategy.
Why put load on the net with that kind of sh.. (uups, sorry).
Go to the root of the problem and turn those traps OFF
or at least remove yourself from the list of trap receivers
directly on the NT machine.
Regards, Ralph.

We keep getting the following traps from up-and-running NT machines?

 1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.3 Link Down serverNT
 1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.3 Cold Start serveNT
 1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.1 Link Down workstationNT
 1.3.6.1.4.1.311.1.1.3.1.1 Cold Start workstationNT

Has anybody any idea why we keep recieving these traps from NT servers and
worksations?

If we can be sure that they do not matter, we can raise a change request and
set these traps to "Log Only" so they do not appear in the browser!!!

Thanks,
