I am sorry to say that I know of no fix for this problem. We have no tool
to rebuild the database and fix an error of this kind that I know of. Do
you know what happened to cause it? Did you run out of space in /usr/OV
or have the system crash with a map up?

 NV4.1.2

When I tried to open my map today I received the following error:

"Error retrieving mapdb field info: Null field value"

Netview then closes. Before I cancel all my plans for the next few
days to rebuild my maps, I was wondering if there is any fix for this
problem. The map I am using is the default map. If I try to use any
of the mapadmin commands I get the same error.

 Help please!
