Ken, Unfortunately, as you may realize, NetView V5.1 on AIX does NOT support storing data into MS SQL. This is only supported with NetView running on NT. With the TME Framework's RIM technology, you can have the NetView database objects be stored on an NT box. You will, however, need to use Oracle, Sybase, or DB/2 as the database platform and NOT MS-SQL. Chris Original Note: I am working with a customer who is installing NetView v5.1 on an AIX v4.3 machine but would like to get the collected data into an MS SQL Server database on an NT machine. Anyone tried this, or have any thoughts on how we might be able to accomplish this with standard software? Thank you, Ken Maryville Data Systems One Pierce Place Suite 475W Itasca, IL 60143 (630) 285-9597 ext. 5105 |
