Hi,

we have two CiscoRouter, one in the data center one in a dependancy,
connected together over leased line. For redundancy I install a third
router in the data center. The serial interface of the third router has a
address of the IP-Subnet of the two other router ( 28-bit-mask). So if the
the router in the data center is out of order I switch the leased line to
the third router.
The problem is, that Netview only paint a blue connection between the two
router in the data center. The serial interface on the router in the
dependancy will not be discovered. When I delete the routers from netview
and switch off the third router the discovering and the map of Netview is
o.k. At the moment I switch the third router on and Netview discover him,
Netview delete the connection to the dependany and the serial interface of
the router and paint the blue connection between the two router in the
data center.

Has anyone an idea ?

Second ask : Is there any command (not from the gui) to change a object
from unmanage to manage ?

Thanks,

Carsten
