Yup.  trapgend is trying to connect to snmpd on this box and is being
refused.  That probably means that the snmpd.peers or snmp.conf files have
been changed and the entries that he requires have been deleted or are
missing.  You should also check that your /etc/hosts file has a 127.0.0.1
entry for localhost and loopback aliases.

Netview eventlog is not picking up traps from netview subagents.  All
daemons
appear to be running.  Hav eturned on error logging in snmp.conf, and
recieved
the following error.

(07424) trapgend - connect_snmp(): smux_init(): systemError
[join_tcp_server
failed: connection refused]

Can anybody tell me what this error is.
