While the procedure described below will work, I thought that all these
files would get installed simply and easily if you specified En_US (and
en_US) as additional language environments. You can just put the CD in
the drive and use SMIT/system environments/add additional language
environments to add these. With PF4 you can just go down the list and
select them. Or am I missing something here?

the bos.loc.pc.compat.En_us is listed as a prereq of NetView
This fileset is on the first Aix 4.2 CD, under smit/software install/
install and update software, select the "install and update software by
package name" choice.

Hi,
I'm trying to install nv for AIX but I've got this requisite failure :
At least 1 of the following:
| * bos.loc.pc_compat.En_US v=4, r=1, m=0 OR m>0
| * bsl.en_US.pc.loc v=3, r=2 OR r>2
My OS is AIX 4.2. and I haven't found the requisite files in the
installation media.
I would like to know where can I found these files.
