It's the old "missing-command-line-option-story".
man ovmapcount gives you -c -l -u -a -v.
ovmapcount -? at the commandline gives you -a -b -c -l -u -r -v.

I only noticed it in V5, but I did a little searching and it appears that
it has been in
V4 since at least PTF U451880. It may not be documented until later. The
latest
PTF for V4, by the way, is U459387.

Vince, back to your original question, when I see that message from
ovtopofix, I ignore it. When I next open the map and it synchronizes,
I believe the offending object is gone (it was probably an interface
or something). I may be wrong.
You might also want to check out the new option on ovmapcount , -b.
It searches the map databases for things that do not exist in the object
database. These would be things you CAN find on the map but which
have no object id when you display object info. I think this is the kind
of problem Blaine is talking about. These things have to be found
on the map and deleted, ovmapcount -b just points them out, apparently.

Hmm, may be a different problem. I actually was able to find the "20540"
submap even though there was no "visible" object on any submap and
deleted it. Still, delete and readd of all map references to this
particular nodename might fix. Good luck.
