SNMPV2+ status query

Hi,

I am interested in getting an idea of what the latest new is with
more recent versions of SNMP.   I have worked with Netview
for quite a while but never much with anything other than SNMP
V1.  I am keen to know if this is an important topic at Netview
V5.1 level and how it's impact is/will be felt.

I do appreciate that this is an ambiguous question but I really  do
need to know this.
