Thanks Carla and Vladimir. I did review previous emails on the list, but
they are not helping.
The command:
/etc/Tivoli/oserv.rc start
results in:
$Database mismatch (from venus.dev.tivoli.com/146.84.27.22)
!/usr/local/Tivoli/bin/aix4-r1/bin/oserv: odlist init failed. internal
resource corrupted. (54)
$DBDIR is /var/spool/Tivoli/hostname.db and has 2912k free
/tmp has 14916k free
The error messages in oservlog are the same as the error when you type
oserv.rc start:
1999/01/26 08:23:16 +06: $Database mismatch (from
venus.dev.tivoli.com/146.84.27.22)
1999/01/26 08:23:16 +06: !oserv: odlist init failed. internal resource
corrupted. (54)
The stuff about venus.dev.tivoli.com and $database mismatch is particularly
perplexing. Plus I've never liked "corrupted" messages. ....but what went
wrong?
