Did something happen to your DNS? Did your box get a new IP address or
hostname? The error message says we cannot resolve the hostname for
152.225.244.31. Is that your box or some other? That's where we think
the TMR server (oserv) is running.

Assuming you have sourced the Tivoli environment ( .
/etc/Tivoli/setup_env.sh) try this:

oserv -k $BINDIR -N by_addr

Subject: oserv won't start

Not sure what happened to the machine but upon trying to restart
Tivoli this morning. I receive the destination dispatcher unavailable.
I've tried to start oserv using odadmin along with all the tricks I'm
aware of. When I attempt to execute the oserv.rc, I receive the
following error:
@No valid host name for dispatcher 1 IP 152.225.244.31
!/usr/local/Tivoli/bin/aix4-r1/bin/oserv: odlist init failed.
destination dispatcher unavailable. (34)

How can I can around this error?

Thanks for ur assistance in advance
