You can change the map symbol colors in the /usr/OV/app-defaults/OVw file
and the event colors in the /usr/OV/app-defaults/Nvevents file. I do not
believe you can change what NV calls "Major" and "Critical". That is, you
can't change the fact that "Major" is the highest severity for events. You
may just want to define both "Major" and "Critical" severity as color "red"
in the Nvevents file, "Minor" as "orange", "Warning" as "yellow", and
"Cleared" as "green"? This is what we do.

Hello All.

At present, Netview has "critical" as it highest severity and it's color
is orange. "Major" is second on the severity list and it's color is red.

Is there any way of reversing this??

I mean... make the highest severity "critical" and the second highest
"red" and reverse the corresponding colors also.

Any info appreciated.

Gord.
