And a fine package of fixes it is, too! I have put it on at two sites now,
and while I did not stay
around for more than a few days afterward, it looked pretty good. The list
of apars fixed in this
patch will thrill one and all. Lots of little things that have been bugging
us are on the list. Status
of members of collections is greatly improved, among other things.
Be sure to read the release notes. There are a couple of steps, so don't
guess.

Do you want the UNIX version or the NT one? UNIX was ready on time, but
got held up when it turned out that weird things would happen on NT with
various Microsoft patches installed. Since Tivoli autoships to all
customers with a current maintenance contract, UNIX had to be held up while
the NT problems were investigated and new Release notes cut. But it will
release to manufacturing this Friday, 03/05/99.
If you are in need of the UNIX 5.1.1 now you can get it by calling Support
and getting put on what they call the "hot list". You'll need to supply
your customer number and mailing address, of course. It should ship with
48 hours of that.
