A MIB is an ASCII file until it is compiled. If you can browse it with
more, cat, or vi, then it is ASCII. That's what you should ftp. Put it in
the /usr/OV/snmp_mibs directory and you can load it with xnmbrower or
xnmbrowser2 on the new machine. This is really very simple.
