My advice is to contact support.  I had many of those issues when I first
installed 5.1, but with a few patches here and there, netmon stablized (its
rock solid now), performance is excellent.  Who knows if 5.1.1 will fix all
those problems, but if you have crashing daemons, you need to call Tivoli
and get an efix, or wait for the 5.1.1 patch.
