I've found very good success in using only SNMP vs SNMPv1/SNMPv2.

Subject: Loading MIBs--SNMP vs SNMPv1/SNMPv2
In Netview 5.1 there are two options under the
"Options->load/Unload
MIB": SNMP and SNMPv1/SNMPv2. How do you know which way to
load a
MIB? I took a look at the MIB I wanted to load (one for NT),
and
didn't see any obvious markers in the text. I was able to load
it
both ways without error, but the Netview configuration only
seemed
to pick it up one way.
