Are these agent events (A) or Netview events (N or some other letter)?
Maybe they are coldstart or warmstart traps from the devices? Look at
the whole card and see what the enterprise is, and the generic and
specific ids, then look in Event Configuration to read more about them.

How true. This is puzzling me for months.
And the nodes are of every variety (Cisco-Routers, NT-Servers, ...)

Hi all,
I have recently a message some this in event display:

 Network_Manager_f '<name of node>' UP

with the name of node different time to time; one time the really NetView
Server but other
time I have a various name of rs6000 node of my network.

I would to know the causes of this.
