I believe there may even be a way to do a TMR install in text mode only, but
I do know that using x-window from another host will work. I recently did
just that (with an Xstation) and it worked fine.

Subject: Installing the Framework...

Hello All.

I have a question regarding the installation of Tivoli Framework, on the TMR
Server, prior to installing Netview 5.1...

Our TMR Server does not have a graphics adapter, instead, we want to use a
simple ascii terminal and using our Netview Server, xWindows into the TMR
Server (i.e. export the DISPLAY back to the Netview box.

Does Framework require a graphics adapter as a requiste for installation?
Or, can we install without one and just use the ascii terminal as mentioned
above ??

Any advice/info appeciated.

Sincerely,

Gord Michaels.
