Anyone seen problem where nvcold opens a number of TCP sessions that go straight to TIME_WAIT?

I'm doing netstat -a | grep nvcold | wc -l to get the number of TCP connections nvcold has open or is trying to open. I'm getting numbers ranging from

30 up to 379, all in a 2 minute time period.

Here's sample output:

tcp        0      0  nv6000.nvcold          nv6000.1965            ESTABLISHED
tcp        0      0  nv6000.1965            nv6000.nvcold          ESTABLISHED
