What level of code are you running?
I seem to remember that there was a problem with the GUI not picking up the
changed option.
Do ps -ef | grep trapd and see what the options are. My guess is that
you will see -B2000 because the default really is 500.
If you want to pursue this as a problem, call Support.

500, but trapd.trace says 2000?
