We have problem discovering DEC TrueCluster Nodes (even the hostnames
are explicitely put in the seed file). PING and SNMPGET work fine against the
servers.
Inside NetView, no references in the topology database, only a stub of
information
in the object database consists of selection name, hostname and etc).
Through SNMPGET, we get the interface table as follows:
1 tu 10.66.18.17 255.255.255.0 # Ethernet Connection
7 lo 127.0.0.1 255.0.0.0
5 tra 159.231.13.201 255.255.255.128 #TokenRing
4 tra 159.231.17.125 255.255.255.224 #TokenRing
4 tra 159.231.17.228 255.255.255.224 #TokenRing
9 mc 223.254.254.42 255.255.255.0 #MemoryChannelInterface
9 mc 223.254.254.225 255.255.255.0 #MemoryChannelInterface
9 mc 223.254.254.228 255.255.255.0 #MemoryChannelInterface
Noticed that three virtual memory channel interfaces are on the same subnet. Is
it the
reason why topology database can't put it's entry into the topology database and
the
have it done into object database?
Does anyone have any experience on this? Thanks.
Best Regards
