There is a parameter you can change to enable your events window to load
separately.

1. Copy file Nvevents from /usr/OV/app-defaults to the user's home
directory

2. Edit the file - find entry 'nvevents.outside' and change its value from
'False' to 'True'

3. Reload the NV GUI under that user and the events window should be
separate from the main window.
