The first answer on the forum is only the first part of the job to be done. To gather Rmon statistics you must also configure the Nways LanRemon. Pay attention that you won't collect data directly from DMM but from EMACS or TMACS on the LANs, there are limitations on the Rmon groups available depending on the kind of card. You will be able to gather more information by loading ECAM modules on the 8260, there is a pdf file documenting this procedure in NWAYS Lan Remon doc directory. To find more info on NWAYS products there is an IBM redbook http://www.redbooks.ibm.com/pubs/pdfs/redbooks/sg245302.pdf and a forum, check http://www.networking.ibm.com/cma/cmaprod.html Bye Massimo Carnevali IBM Global Services - Italy |
