Alain,

We have just completed (last weekend) and upgrade to NetView v5.1.1 on AIX
v4.2.1 and we have had no problems (once we removed a troublesome dependant
application that was no longer used). We also have Optivity NMS v8.1.1 and
have found no problems using it in this configuration.

>From my own experience, extensive testing helped as it allowed me to note
any problems that occurred on the test box (and there were several) and plan
how to fix/bypass them if they occurred during the production upgrade.

Regards

I'd like to know what the status (availability) is regarding :

Any other comments/advise would be greatly appreciated
