Hi Matt:

I have been installing Nways since two weeks ago.
General tips:
0- MAKE A GOOD BACK UP!!!!
1- obtain from www.redbooks.ibm.com the red book named Network
Management Using Nways Management Applications (SG24-5302-00) this is
the Nways installation manual.
2- see: www.networking.ibm.com/support/Mangement Products for usefull
tips.
3- be carefull whit the memory, if you do not have enougth memory the
sistem will Hang up.
4- I had a lot of problems installing nways in "one time installation" I
suggest that You should install one module and then another and so. (for
example I istalled first campus Manager-LAN for the 2210 routers)
5- After install follow the chapter 4.4 (Post Installation Setup for
Nways Manager Applications) to config the nways.
6 - If you have problems with the rnvgate whether the map do not
sinchronize, you can disable the automatic sinchronization, please
see:/usr/lpp/mgtapptran/README.mat for detailed information.
7- You must patch the internet Explorer if you like see the Nways
Manager java application with it. the path come in the CD, after install
see:
/usr/CML/JMA/java/websvr/RmiPatch

good luck!
