MIB expressions in NetView 5.1.1

I am pretty new to NetView, and want to create some MIB expressions, to give
me some calculated attributes that I can collect and report on, such as
LoadIn, LoadOut, TotalErrors, etc. I have been through the Admin guide but
it doesn't seem to help.

I have tried editing the conf/mibExpr.conf file to add some of these but I
always get no data collected. Does anyone have any examples of how to do
this successfully, or have a mibexpr.conf file I could look at.
