Hi all, I have Netview 5.1.1 and I need to check the IP traffic of the main
channels of my Network. My situation is that all the main channels are
concentrated in the same router ( Cisco 7500) using different interfaces, and
the bandwidths are different, too.
When I´m going to define the objects to collect, Netview does not allow to use
the same device for differents interfaces in separated collections. The
problem is that I need to define Thresholds to send events, but , like the
bandwiths are different, the thresholds should be different, too. How can I
define different thresholds for the different instances ??
For example: The router A has two interfaces : instance 1 and instance 2.
The instance 1 has a 192 KB channel and the instance 2 has a
2 MB channel. The threshold for the instance 1 should be 180 KB and for the
instance 2 should be 1.8 MB. How can I define this two different thresholds ?

Thanks,
Hernan D. Villegas
