First, what level of code are you running? The message
Node/Iface or memory allocation error in allocSnmpState - exiting
looks like a problem that was fixed in 5.1.1. So you should
put that upgrade on first. Then, there is also an upgrade to MLM on the 5.1.1
CD.
And also there is an e-fix for MLM available from support that you should get.

The main thing you are showing us, though, is that the MLM 10.28.29.117 is
only managing itself. By default it only manages things on its own subnet. Is
there
anything else on its subnet? Also, have you told netmon to offload status
polling
to this MLM? You do that by configuring the netmon daemon using the context menu
on the Tivoli desktop. See the man page for netmon for the details.

And on the Netview map, in the Collections Submap, after a
demandpoll of the node that has MLM installed, you should see a Collection for
the
MLM and one for the default mlm. What is in them? You can broaden the spere of
control of the ML beyond its subnet by altering the definition of the Collection
(use Tools... Collection Editor to do that).

That's all I can think of. I have not seen that problem.

Cordially,
