Someone correct me if I am wrong, please.
I recall you said you were using just NetView 5.1 (it is always important to add
this info when you post).
And what I remember is that until 5.1.1, the web client did not use NetView
security and you had to login as a non-root UNIX userid.

Subject: Authorization failed on web interface
Netview web interface gives me an Authorization Failed message on all
sign on attempt from the Web interface. I cannot even see any messages
appearing in the sec_audit_log file as I try the signon. I tried
recycling the nvsecd but no effect. userids that I try are defined in
the web group.
I found out that the nvsec_admin file got corrupted somehow so I
replaced it with a copy in the newconfig. Web sign on was working fine
before. Besides this I cannot think of any other change.
