From netmon's man page, it says that netmon discovers a new IP address
that resolves to the
host name of a currently known host, and the previously discovered IP
address does not
resolve to that host, netmon updates the host with the new IP address.
My questions are:
1. is there any special events will be generated when netmon discover this
change?
2. if say there is a node, doesn't support DHCP, but for some reason
someone changes its
IP address. does netmon treat it as DHCP node? Can netmon distinguish
between these
two. Is there a way to provide netmon with a range of DHCP nodes (like
NNM does)?
Thanks.
