Hello I am using NetView 5.1.1 on AIX 4.2 and MLM 5.1.1 on NT 4.0 SP 4 and 5 (German version). When using the APM tool to configure the MLM, the snmp.exe dies on the NT machine. No changes are saved. I have tested it even on a newly installed NT with no other programs on it than NT 4.0, SP4 and MLM or NT 4.0, SP5 and MLM. Does anyone have any idea? Is it possible that the NetView server sends illegal instructions to the MLM which causes the SNMP.EXE to crash? |
