Hello!
Let me re-clarlfy my question again, Have any one can tell me the default
event log size for
Netview web client - Node's history log/event via Netview Web - Diagnostic
function?
If Netview's console control desk event log full by system default setting -
128k, and then
put it into /usr/OV/log/ovevent.log.BAK, how can I retreive it? have any
Netview's API cmd
can do it? and I hope I can look at the "ovevent.log.BAK" content thru Web
interface,
have any chance to do that? Am appreciated anyone can help me, thanks!

Subject: Netview V5.1.1 Web Interface - Event Log size ?
Hello !
Have anyone can do me a favor? I faced a problem regarding to NetView V5.1.1
Web Interface - Event Log content intermittent disappear for some monitored
Node/Object,
while I executed the "view Event log for subject node" from Web Interface -
Diagnostic option.
what 's the default size of it? is this also same as default Netview's
ovevent.log size
128k? what's kind of relationship between them? or they all came from same
source.
I also tried to re-boot Netview system via ovstop & ovstart, then issuing
'nv6000' to
start up Netview/6000, I found the Event Log content sometimes will be
changed or disappear
without any warning message, is this a ovevent.log override condition(over
default size 128k)?
or something else behaviour behind. I'm looking for the method of increasing
the Web Event Log
size, am appreciated anyone can help me solve the issue, thanks!
