How is it failing?   What did you code?

You can investigate your own ruleset problems by turning on tracing in nvcorrd.
Just issue the command, nvcdebug -d all  from the command line and then
everything nvcorrd does will be written to the nvcorrd.alog (and then to the
.blog when that fills).  You will get a lot of data but you can then scan the
log and see what happens when your ruleset node is evaluated.
But beware.  This trace was not developed to be user friendly, and there is no
documentation on it available, so you will probably find that it is hard to read
and that you have to skip over a lot of stuff that you do not understand.
There are other options on the nvcdebug command (see the man page) that will
give you less data, but it is often hard to figure out what option you want in
advance.

Hello all,
We have NV6K v 5.1 on AIX 4.3.2 , i'm trying to use the query database
filed
option in the ruleset . Somehow it doesn't  work.
Any ideas?
