I am installing TME 10 NetView 5.1
I have successfully installed TME 10 NetView Server 5.1,
However when I try to install TME 10 NetView Database 5.1, the installation
failed at the end. From the error message it seems that the installation did
a check using nslookup and failed. My NMS is not configured with any DNS
configuration. Obviously nslookup will failed because of that.
Is there any way I can by pass this nslookup command or cheat the system so
that the installation of database can proceed.
The book says the database is optional, but I remember having to install
nv6000.database on NetView 4.x. Can I just forget about the TME 10 NetView
Database.
Has anybody face the above problem. Can anybody offer any help??

For your information althouth the installation of TME 10 NetView Database
failed, I managed to proceed with NV FW 5.1 to 5.1.1. and patch 5.1-NVF-001
