Greetings everyone. I have a lab setup that I'm trying to test MLM's in ,but
I need some help.

My test setup is like this. Segment behind the firewall has 1 solaris2.6
box with MLM software installed - 192.168.17.26, 1 NT server
-192.168.17.15, 1NT workstation - 192.168.17.25, 1 Cisco 1900
-192.168.17.100. The firewall has been setup to allow icmp and snmp traffic
to and from the MLM and NT server to my Netview server.

Questions.
1.) When I discover this segment The MLM and NT server are added to my map,
but not the workstation or Cisco 1900 ? All of theses devices show up
in the MLM's node discovery table.
2.) When I disconnect the NT server from the network I don't receive any
node down traps, it stays green on my map.

This is what I see from netmon.

 1. I'm starting netmon with -g and -z switches.
 2. netmon -a 102 shows- mlm: 192.168.17.26 is monitoring :
                                            192.168.17.15 (the NT server)
 3. netmon -a 51 shows: interface 192.168.17.15 is managed by
192.168.17.26
 4. netmon -a 13 shows : pausedPingList ( ? what is this )
                                            192.168.17.15 = 0x43cb58
 5. netmon -a 11 shows: pausedPingList
                                             192.168.17.15
                                              PingWait
                                              0 elements

It seems right to me, but I don't think the MLM or my Netview box is polling
the NT server.
