Rulesets are user-designed. I am not certain but it sounds to me like you could
use Pass-On-Match to capture the linkup/linkdown pairs, followed by a threshold
node to do the count of 10. But it will be up to you to design and test a
solution, just as with any other programming tool. If you haven't built any
rulesets before, then as with any programming exercise, I suggest you try some
simple examples first before you tackle the job you really want to do.

Subject: Rulesets

Hello all,
We have NV6K v 5.1 on AIX v 4.3.2,
We are trying to implement a ruleset for handling a rotating line
(wan),
we capture a link down and a link up traps from the same Wellfleet
router
for a specific interface within 1 minute.
We need to send a popup message if we get at least 10 couples of a link
up/down traps and to ignore the rest.
Is there any ruleset icon doing something like this ?

Greetings, Oren.
