Hi Dimitri,
snmp-server host x.x.x.x Word? :
x.x.x.x -> means the trap-receiver address
Word? -> means the trap-receiver community, can be the same as the RW/RO
community but must not be the same, standard is public

Subject: community traps
Hi at all.....
I use Netview 5.1.1 on Aix 4.2.1.
My question is this:
when I configured a router cisco, I use
snmp-server community Word1 RO
snmp-server community Word2 RW
and I understand difference of using Word1 and Word2.
But I don't understand when I use
snmp-server host x.x.x.x Word? :
what's the difference using Word1 or Word2 in this statement?
thanks all
bye
dimitri
